Re: Offer of employment
I am writing in connection with our offer to you of employment with Emirates as Cabin Crew commencing on 27 Mar 2009, which you accepted. The current economic climate has prompted many airlines (including ourselves) to re-assess business strategy and recruitment needs for the future. As a business it is paramount that we ensure that we match our recruitment policy to our actual and anticipated business requirements to enable us to create the right training and career opportunities for all those who wish to join us. This re-assessment has resulted in a decision to significantly reduce the number of new Cabin Crew we are hiring this year.

It is with regret that I am writing, at the earliest possible opportunity following this review, to inform you that we are withdrawing our offer of employment. We recognise that this will be extremely disappointing for you but unfortunately it is unavoidable. We wish to point out that this is no reflection of you as a candidate as you did demonstrate through our selection process the potential to do well through our training courses and be a successful crew member in our international airline.

Please note that we will seek to re-contact you when we have our next course start dates confirmed to determine if you are still interested in being considered again for a career as a Cabin Crew team member in our airline.

Thank you again for your continued interest in a career with Emirates.

我也收到相同的email !! 好傷心唷...........
請問這一封信 到底是取消我們的錄取資格 還是單純延期而已!???
看到第二段 withdrawing the offer of employment.....
然後又看到第三段they will seek to re-contact me when they have their next course start dates confirmed to determine....
現在 該怎麼辦哩???

嗯，看樣子是，延期的意思。
應該就是請要找頭路的先去找，等過了一段時間後需要組員，再聯絡你，看看到時候你還要不要來杜拜。
但因為不知道會等多久，所以先寫信跟你們講一聲.....

單就這封信來說，
是針對原本已經有簽了接受合約的人，
因為根據合約的精神，
您已經接受了這份工作，
所以如果用無限期延後報到的話，
理論上來說，妳是不能另外找工作的，
為了妳另外找工作的合法性，
所以暫時將給妳的合約收回，
這樣的話你就可以先找份工作了，
第二段也有說到，
妳通過所有面試的事實並沒有變動，
所以當情勢好轉的時候，
如果公司又重新招募新人的時候，
公司會再連絡妳，
看妳到時候是不是對於加入還有興趣囉！

目前的情勢瞬息萬變，
這樣的事情以前並沒有發生過，
所以不論如何，靜觀其變囉！
