2009年1月 - EK 應試分享集 - 結果出爐

今天Emirates發出了第二批Final結果的通知.
雖然結果不如預期, 但我想因為經濟不僅氣的因素,
也必須面對這國際趨勢與大公司所需面臨的情況.

也祝大家在未來的應試路上一路順風!

這封信在第三段的地方我想與年初三收到信的人有些不同,
但以目前的狀況, 我想大家也只能以快樂的心情去面對.
EK所發出的信內容為:

Thank you for your application and the time you have given to attend the various elements of our assessment process for the position of Cabin Crew with Emirates Airline. Our team has carefully reviewed your candidature and considered your background and demonstrated competencies through our recruitment process. Regrettably we must inform you that on this occasion you have been unsuccessful.

We wish to point out that this is no reflection of you as a candidate as you did demonstrate potential through our process. Your not being successful at this time is the result of us having to select a finite number of people from a large pool of high quality candidates to meet our current aircraft crewing requirements.

We do thank you for your interest and the enthusiasm you have shown and we would welcome a reapplication from you in the future. Our team will look to make contact with you in approximately six to nine months time to see if you would like to reapply to join our international Cabin Crew team.

In the interim, we wish you every success in 2009 and we thank you for your interest in obtaining a career with Emirates Airline.

我收到信的當下也是很錯愕的

這幾天我有跟部分1月做完Final的喵喵們聊了一下,
我也知道10個裡面大概只有我目前一副悠悠哉哉樣.
但其實整件事情真的不是大家的問題,
全球經濟的不景氣, 影響到的大家達成理想工作的願望.
也讓很多人哭到晚上無法入睡.
甚至懷疑起自己的能力.

俗話說: 重要的在過程, 結果怎樣其實已經不重要了.
我在這個過程中, 認識了一些新的朋友,
也在面試的過程中更了解了自己.
大家可以想想自己在這個過程中換來了什麼無價的回報.

在人生中還有長長遠遠的路等著大家.
也會有著大大小小的困難等著去解決.
但只要各位將自己人生路上所學經歷發揮出來,
大家在最後都會是一個成功的人.

又是一個老掉牙的話 – 持續在人生中努力加油, Surprise 就會在你/妳最努力的時候降臨你/妳!

所以說是10個人都全軍覆沒的意思嗎？
如果是真的，這比我收到信的時候還吃驚
我也想和大家聊一聊

儘量往好的地方想呀！
比如說信的最後一段
「 Our team will look to make contact with you in approximately six to nine months time to see if you would like to reapply to join our international Cabin Crew team.
In the interim, we wish you every success in 2009 and we thank you for your interest in obtaining a career with Emirates Airline.」

至少我們有被Emirates祝福2009年都success、
而且他還說6~9個月內，他們的團隊會「主動」向我們聯絡呢！？

懷抱著希望迎向未來。
我很開心可以參與這次的面試
在這幾場面試裡我覺得我也有所成長
變得比較愛笑
看起來也比較不會那麼嚴肅

明白國際化的企業之所以能成功
就是因為他們重視「團隊」
從面試的嚴謹程度
明白這份工作需要的不僅僅是服務
還包含與同事間相處和OPEN MIND的思維
也相信Emirates一定做過全盤性的考量後
才發出「no」的email給我們
我相信公司發出「no」的信，
應該就是對我們做出最好的妥善安排

儘管最後沒有收到GOLDEN CALL
我也還是很謝謝上天給我這麼一次機會
能夠參與全程面試
雖然只有短短的幾天
我還蠻Enjoy這次面試的過程
感謝上天也祝福每一位

今天已經第六週了
我還是沒有收到任何消息
寄了email問他們也沒有回應
打電話卻說這個電話號碼不完整---有人知道正確的電話嗎? 我是照著她發給我們那張單子上打的再加上杜拜國碼和區碼+971 4 xxxxxxx ???
...
當然至少三個月內他們不會有任何新的recruitment動作這是可以預見的
